Re: Speed Modelling #40 - Superhero/Villan WeaponsThis takes me back to the Ray Gun competition, but this comp got me Thinking about Classic DOOM!and of course. . . My weapon of choice. .. THE PLASMA GUN!!! with a bit a license of course.

Re: Speed Modelling #40 - Superhero/Villan WeaponsSome great entries and a great subject, but it looks like i'm going to miss out on this one too.
Work is keeping me on the move, quite literally, and finding 30 minutes of my own time without rolling off the walls isn't looking like something that will happen soon. And more to the point, i'm not so familiar with the subject that I could do it without research. I had a misspent youth and wasted my time with beer women and pool etc when I should have been studying graphic novels. I do have flashes involving catwoman, thighlength boots and wonderwoman but that could be some sort of LSD flashback and the weapon involved may not be legitimate. Opinions are like wives.
Those found on the internet have been known to contain varying traces of nuts!
Re: Speed Modelling #40 - Superhero/Villan WeaponsSurely no one else involved, I was expecting something more hype
Everyone remembers the old man Zurg and his funny gun (26 min) hidden offcourse PS. In my, very interesting contests ... Opportunity to test yourself. I LIKE THIS!!!! I LOVE IT! when I want to make a new model for the competition, I close up in the closet, for my son and wife, I cease to exist on 30 minutes)))
Re: Speed Modelling #40 - Superhero/Villan WeaponsLooks like someone is getting carried away.
Careful cj_sniper or you are going to cancel out all your own votes and someone else will win Seriously, nice modeling. I was considering doing Big Baby but now I cannot.
Re: Speed Modelling #40 - Superhero/Villan WeaponsThank you, you can order the model: ironman helmet and button of doom did not vote (too simple and primitive)
Re: Speed Modelling #40 - Superhero/Villan WeaponsI beg forgiveness from the administration (Please do not disqualify me)
but I could not resist and made another model - gas gun from the movie "The Green Hornet" (full 30 minutes)
Re: Speed Modelling #40 - Superhero/Villan WeaponsThat is great!.
No worry about being disqualified at all, bring em on.
Re: Speed Modelling #40 - Superhero/Villan WeaponsDoctor Strange's Amulet of Agamotto - the eye shape isn't right but best I could do in about 25 minutes. Big thumbs up to that Joint Push Pull tool by the way.
PS. Blown away - and inspired- by some of those entries for 30 minutes (and under). Incredible. Please, register (free) to access all the attachments on the forums. Burt

Re: Speed Modelling #40 - Superhero/Villan Weapons"The (D/F)art Gun" from "Despicable Me"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZF2yPLkElfE I used almost all 30 minutes to finish. "Dr. Nefario: Here's the new weapon you ordered. [Shoots minion with the fart gun] Gru: No, no, no. I said DART gun. Dr. Nefario: Oh yes. Cause I was wondering... under what circumstances would we use this? Gru: Ok... " Please, register (free) to access all the attachments on the forums.

Re: Speed Modelling #40 - Superhero/Villan WeaponsACME, Wile. E. Coyote choice of weapon, never served him well..... ever!
Just the rocket was modeled for challenge, Coyote is an old model that I rigged to fit the challenge model. Tools used: artisan, follow and rotate, FFD. This is NOT a challenge entry as I would need to exclude the Coyote and it would make no sense as the rope is made to conform to his shape. Re: Speed Modelling #40 - Superhero/Villan WeaponsGun sniper by madmax52 my
I take long to realize this model, of my invention. I wanted to make all the mechanics. I am a beginner. Last edited by madmax52 on Sat May 28, 2011 12:21 am, edited 1 time in total.
