Maybe it is performing as intended, but......if I resize .skp in LO with any other resize functions, & preserve scale on resize is ticked.........model scale is maintained as expected.
However, if I resize about center [alt function] the model will not maintain scale.
Bug/Feature?

Hi Charlie,
Keep the Shift key pressed (together with the Alt key) as well to scale proportionally.
I was actually curious because there used to be such a bug (well, a bit similar - it seemed to scale proportionally but when I released the cursor, it "jumped" to a non proportional scale) but that was ironed out during some tests of LO 1 more than 2 years ago. First I was surprised it is back but no, with the Shift key, it works nicely.

Thanks Gai, Scaling as you describe is noted....thanks. But please bear with me, what I experience is scaling up/down when that is not what I desire.
IE: In LO I wish to resise a SU model "window" about center and maintain the set (current)scale of the model. I have maintain scale on resise ticked.......but if I resise the "window" with the alt button the model will also resise!
My understanding is this should not happen.......Y/N?

True. There is even a "Preserve scale on resize" checkbox in the SU dialog and despite I check it, it does not preserve the scale.
Definitely a bug.

I could have sworn this bug was fixed a few iterations back.......No? If it was....FYI: Current LO build (Version 3.0.16846) exhibits the same problem previously reported/fixed. Best, Charlie

Hi Charlie-
Sadly no, this one hasn't been fixed (as of v2013), but it hasn't been forgotten.
thanks, Marc
