The ideal place for beginners to get help using SketchUp
by bertb » Sun Dec 02, 2007 12:30 am
Hello everyone out there. Please let me introduce myself as a two years day-by-day and enthousiast user of SU. I am a Dutch architect for over 25 years; working both in NW Europe as well as in the Mediterrenean area. The past time was very, very busy so untill now I could just visit the Forum to stay informed and learn and enjoy various discussions and tips. As I have some more time in the future I like to join the Forum more often to see if I can help or take part in some interesting discussions. Most of you I know by name and skills ; be assured of my respect for your (and my) community. See you soon. Bert Brouns

Thank to you all for a warm welcome Attached is some Sketchup work which, of course is not necessary the same as my architectural work Recent projects are not included because some clients don't like publication in a preliminary fase. Like to hear some comment but please keep in mind : SU for me is a (very nice) tool to make, present and develop some ideas. Same (or better) as pencil, drawing board etc. Bert

Yes Eric, Podium in a early fase of the project with almost no experience in rendering It occurred to me that a picture doesn't hsve to be perfect to have some impact even to the client He liked it (on the cover of the presentation) and we worked it out to the main entrance design Glad you like it Bert
