Led iluminated glass treads possible? ( Stairs )

a friend of mine is searchng a good tip how to create led iluminated (from sides) glass treads effect.

rendering options are lightup, keyshot or lumion.

any share of tips or tuts are very appreciated.

Could you post a screenshot of an example of what your aiming to do.
I'm sure it is doable, and I'm sure there is some expertize in the renderers you named lurking about

My thought would be to make the stair tread both transparent and an emitter and make the LEDs emitters as well. I haven't tried it but that would be my approach.
