Help needed for a column desing

Postby Bert » Mon Nov 26, 2007 1:54 pm

I am preparing a plan for a seven drawers chest and can not figure out how to achieve that particular end part of the columns. A brief tutorial on that woud be appreciated

Tanks for your help

Help will arrive shortly. In the meantime, here's s start (I'm out of time). I don't think it quite matches your photo, though it's a little hard to see.

First created a square column, drew in one arc, copied it around 90 degrees. Drew the profile on the bottom of the column ad Push/Pulled it up as far as it would go. Then, drew in the arcs for the top, and started hand-stitching.

Ok, here's a step-by-step.

Now I'm late.
