Yay me.

Thanks for the votes everyone.

For the next challenge... well there won't be one for a while. Participation is down and it is getting a bit tired. Maybe when the new site launches or some other what not sparks the interest back we can start it up again. But until then the speed modeling challenge is officially on hold.

Thanks to everyone who has participated throughout the years. :fro:

Excellent win there Boo, well done, and probably a good idea to rest the challenge for a while.

Ah, thats a real shame. I suppose 'if you don't use it, you'll lose it" applies here.

Thanks for all the admin etc. :)

Even though I didn't participate that often, I still learned a lot from all the great entries.

For me, it was that i didn't want to use it because I did. I didn't enter because the honesty system of only spending half an hour (or hour) wasn't being used by some competitors. It just seemed pointless to enter when people are not playing by the rules.

At first, I am also thinking that there is a probability that some people (maybe 1 out of 20) may tend to disobey the rules, but I also believe on the judging system and all the "judges" itself. I assume that most of the "judges" are wise enough and can roughly estimate the complexity of the model vs their completion time.

Or maybe competitions is for noobs. And there are not so many noobs (like me) left. Just joking.
