Started fooling about with the small "jewel" box and it got a little out of hand. Was good practice modeling small stuff. Render still needs some tweaking on the textures I think..... Rendered in Twilight, post pro Affinity.

wow - pearls, velvet and perlmut(?) - all these textures are top class so please leave them as they are
And, only if i wanted to be picky and only if you really wanted to tweak something, I would prefer to make a darker background to stand out this great Late Night Fun better...

Thanks HornOxx. Actually have another render of this cooking now with minor tweaks. The mother of pearl texture is something I cooked up in Twilight's deep material editor. It could use some adjustment.... darn stuff is real dependent on how the light hits it for how good it looks. The texture on the pearls is courtesy of alvydas. It's something he came up with and shared it on Twilight's forum. Thanks alvydas.

Promised another image.... so here you go..... Made some minor tweaks in the model. Big thing was using a different studio hdri . Like this one better I think. Lightings more dramatic and shows the mother of pearl texture on the box better.

Both wonderful renders! But the second one is more luxurious and romantic. Interesting example of what a change in lighting or color does.
