Nearly there Marion, i went tru a few ideas and had to start all over, then i went down that road again where i was engineering it, had to stop, take a walk and start all over, very hard to come up with a design but im nearly finished a design now and made it as simple as possible, will up load later

It was really only a mock up, a lot needs to be done to it to suit the design

Well, I'm good at modifying stuff better than coming up with something from scratch and you are great for bouncing off ideas and you come up with cool ideas too. I often start with geometry I made for something else and then expand on it until nothing remains of the original. It's a conceptual limitation of mine, when I have to start from scratch I come up with various ideas but it's often frustrating because those ideas don't translate well into 3d, but having something cool already made, even simple shapes makes my brain go into overdrive. I'm really curious what cool stuff you'll think of to add to the ship after the body is done, which won't be too long now.

So...I think it's just about done. I'm uploading both the sds and low version. Please look over the SDS version and signal any areas in whihc the geometry should be improved, made sharper straighter etc. Also, I think it's time to get a cheap bottle of champagne and think of a NAME for our ship.

I don't like how the engine block looks from the top, so I'll tweak that too. About the name how does this one sound, wanderer in Latin: PEREGRINUS = STRANGER, ALIEN, FOREIGNER, PEREGRINE, PILGRIM, WANDERER Maybe the name of an explorer

Don't mind me jumping in to ask a few questions...
So this is a technology/explorer type vehicle right?
Will it be able to enter and exit the earths atmosphere or is it built in orbit and strictly space bound?
The reason I ask is it is very aerodynamic which is only a factor in atmosphere with resistance, has wings which is pointless in space.

I think it would be more feasible for a ship this big to be built in space. I made it more aerodynamic because it generally makes for a more beautiful vehicle, but also that it might need to skim through the atmospeheres of various planets and it would need a minimum of control in that situation.
