Do I uninstall the older versions first and download the newer ones or just download the new version and the plugins are updated automatically in this way? Thanks for any help.
There is no 'uninstallation' of my plugins (as these are just files in folders). So You can safely install the new versions 1) I would suggest that you first install the SCF Plugin Store plugin, if not already done. This is the safest and easiest way to install plugins. 2) Install LibFredo6 first, then the other plugins 3) Once you have installed, you can go to Windows > LibFredo6 Settings... > Purge Obsolete files and delete the files and folders related to the previous versions Purge Obsolete Files.png Fredo

Thank you very much, I got it. Also thanks for all your great tools and plugins. I just start to learn and appreciate your tools since I'm beginner but nevertheless I can see the greatness.

stair.jpg Hello everybody! I'm trying to make a bent stair, so I created the stair's "profile" and intended to bend it using radial bending and then joint push pull in order to give it width. in order to do that, I made the steps as simple as possible and turned slicing off (so that the shape would be bent only at the vertical edges. unfortunatelly, bending screwed up the normals and when I tried to use the JPP faces were extruded weirdly. Is there something I can do about it? I know that a solution would be to extrude first and bend later, but because of reasons of repetition and workflow It would serve me better to do it this way
Not a native speaker, point out my spelling (or other) mistakes, I won't be offended!!!

Instead of using soften/smooth on the vertical almost-coplanar edges try making them just 'hidden' ??

@dedmin Thanks for signaling. This is actually a bug concerning Curvizard, not FredoTools. I fixed it and republished as Curvizard 1.7b. Fredo

guanjin,
This may be related to the Chinese translation. Do you get the error if you switch to English? Also, could you check if there is no error displayed in the Ruby console

Thanks.
Why not?
I think what Fcharly24H means is that the tool palette doesn't appear everytime you click on Fredo's toolbars icons with sketchup 2014. For me it happens very often with thrupaint. When I click on the icon, it only triggers sketchup native paint bucket and if I zoom in and out while clicking on and off the tool palette might appears but not necessary. I haven't noticed any problem with other tools though. Thank you Fredo06 for your plugins !

Escape performs an Undo. So this may be related to making sure it does not go to far back in the Undo stack. I'll check this problem. Fredo

That's a consequence of enabling 'Auto-Exit' when there is a pre-selection (which is not the default).
Maybe I will use this fast-mode only for Make Curve and Explode Curve, and ignore it for other Tools.

thrupaint problems :/
hi there,
i have for a few times now encountered problems with thrupaint and some of my models..
i have attached a simple box which was part of a greater model. the attached geometry was grouped, part of a geometry and most probably often exploded, scaled rotaed and mirrored and so on... but i have copied it out of the old project.
still the problem persists... thrupaint in natural mode cant accomplish to paint the orthogonal shape orthogonally as is does with a newly created shape - and i cant fix my geometry?! or dont now how because i dont now whats wrong with it!
i would love if fredo could take a look at this. maybe there is a simple solution!
thanks in advance
ai- one thing i forgot to mention - when holding the mouse button down while painting one gets somekind of preview where the texture sits properly, but on releasing it flips?!

There must be a bug somewhere, but in general, painting boxes correctly in continuity on all its faces is very tricky.
Trying with your model, I noticed the flipping and I'll have a look at it.
What I suggest is that you just paint the last face directly, instead of extending it from adjacent faces.
