Thanks didier! It works great! I've already used... One single possible request... would be possible to modify so we could extrude along square shapes as well? So in Solo's image above for example, i could quickly build beans, columns.. etc etc.. all square? Thanks again! PS: i've just donwloaded your all in one file... i'm feeling it'll take me ages to check them all...

for the problems, maybe you must disable the old "line2cyl.rb"? maybe...
for me it works with old tool.... Thanks Didier for a very usefull plugin... I was wondering if there is way to clean up intersection...

Very nice Didier, thanks Additionally may be you could: 1/ add a rotation parameter (when precision is 4 one would get square section (rotation 45)) 2/now I weld lines to get continuous result. Any chance to get it automatically? 3/conjunctions?

Hi all, Sorry for the inconvenience of the "not showing plugin" problem. My fault. You must delete old "line2cyl.rb" of your plugins folder OR I must correct the name of the plugin in the code (I forgot to change it). If line2cyl is loaded first, SU doesn't create another menu item in the tools menu for the new version. would be possible to modify so we could extrude along square shapes as well?
Use a precision of 4 and you'll get square section prisms.(RTFM) please restore this function in "projection_extension.rb
Does this make sense ? This function has nothing to do with projection IMHO... I was wondering if there is way to clean up intersection...
The script can't do it (I mean, quite difficult to code). A workaround is to draw as much curves as you can, and select "Yes" in the "follow-me on curves" option. But it cannot clean intersections on T or Y or X branching edges. Maybe next version will do it ?

Thanks Didier.
Could this be adapted to use a semi-circle with thickness? I am thinking of use for ridge tiles on a roof.

I did not have a chance to look at this until now on my work machine. I had line2cyl.rb here as well. I installed Lines to tubes and got the same results... not showing up. So I then tried as you suggested Pilou, deleting line2cyl.rb and now it is showing up. Thanks.

i think there should also be an option to make not round tubes but square hexagonal triangular ones.

I think if you downloaded the plugin and checked the manual you'd see that it already does what you want.

Great plugin. Is there a way to close the gaps in sharp corners just like in "Pipe Along Path"?

Great plugin, I was trying to create a window and realized that using precision 4, the corners were at 45 degrees, can I control the orientation of the angles? Thanks!

I love this plugin! It's so incredibly easy to use and all the options I need are included. A+ for ease of use! Combined with the soapskin bubble plugin it's almost addictive It does sometimes crash my sketchup. The progress percentage builds up, slows down, and eventually just stops. A second or third try (saving before starting) usually does the job though. All in all, pretty much brilliant!

first I must thank you for your handy tool Dider, and then I thought if you could combine this plugin with a geosphere creator + an option to have sphere in junction points, then we would have A LATTIC TOOL ,right in sketchup, that makes space frames easy.
