If I understand your question, you don't need a plugin to do that.

But perhaps you're looking for a plugin to do animation? You might look at viewtopic.php?f=323&t=13234

thanks, but what I need is to have many scenes in the same file, and each scene to place components or groups in different positions

OK. You don't need a plugin for that. Make copies of the components/groups placed throughout the model as needed. Create layers that can be associated with the scenes. Then assign the layers to the components/groups that you want to show in each scene.

So you might have a component in Position 1 in Scene 1 and that component is associated with Layer 1. All other layers are turned off for Scene 1. Then in Scene 2, the component in Position 2 is on Layer 2 and all other layers are turned off.

That's how I made this animation.

Thank you very much for your explanation
If this is how I work with the layer and components or groups. But it is more simple, just move objects and save your position in each scene.
Keyframeanimator is a good plugin, but payment and more complex.
I just want a simple tool that allows to keep the same object is different positions, different scenes

I don't think you'llo get what you're after for free. You might as well buck up and get Keyframe.

Mover ?
Make animation of any object : start / End
And you can of course use any movment of the scenes in the same time! :enlight:
What do you want more ?

Thanks for your reply

Pilou: only moves the plug to move or rotate objects, this plugin not support saving different positions for groups or components in different scenes

humpmetwice, this plugin is very good, but complex.
No need to animate objects. Only save different positions in different scenes

similar to:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TokvZKmWLlQ&feature=plcp

I only need a funsion similar to the first part of the video that records the position of the groups

There may be some folks out there looking at your subject line and having questions of their own, like what does this guy think the subject line is for? Better to put some meat on that hook if you want to catch something. Otherwise they may think you don't mind wasting their time... Do you know what I mean?

I often struggle with it.

You were doing pretty well, though.

So what is the problem ?
SU makes that automatically no ?
You want an export image of each different position ?

Have you an example of what do you want exactly ?

thanks for their answers.
Pilou
Forexample.
1 - I want to make an office and try 10 different ways to arrange the furniture. After show my client and titrated in 3d it the most interesting options.
I do not need the image, I need the 3D options, then go adjusting the most interesting.
This can be done by creating groups and components, duplicate, and show different layers and different scenes. But this makes duplicate geometries and is a bit annoying to go hiding and showing.

You are right about the duplicates but not about the annoying. Once you create the different scenes there is no delay to speak of and the hiding and showing is all done for you. You can have transitional effects and animate it if impressing is in your program.

That's very accommodating of you, Sam, but you've surely opened a hole in the dike...

Could we have some animation and transitional effects with that, please?

gracias PILOU.

This plugin is interesting.
I would like, if possible, add some features.?

1 - to use different components and groups.
2 - to usr many identical components.
3 - add an interface to sin, perhaps, html or something similar to the interface of this plugin: http://www.smustard.com/script/RepeatCopy

thank you very much
