Vray material settings not saving/loading

Hey guys,

I am running the 1.49.01 version of VfSU with SU8 on Mac. I am having issues with the vray materials on one of my models. I have a variety of materials that I have bump/displacement settings for, however, whenever I re-open the model these settings and maps have gone and I am left with just the basic diffuse material. Interestingly, my brick material does open with the bump settings but none of my other materials do! its very frustrating having import all my materials every time.

I have tried a making a box on a new file and adding a few settings and these will save and load fine! very strange!

Anyone have any ideas??

Is the file you are opening from the older V-Ray? That's probably it. They reworked how materials are handled from 1.05.30 to this new version. I think all of your old models will probably reset unfortunately.

We have recently reinstalled Vray so quite possible it was from the old version... thanks! At least it shouldn't be a problem with future projects. Thanks for your help!
