im a newbie in rendering with vray, i wanna know how to create a realistic grass for my rendering using only a flat plane with grass texture. can someone help me? im using sketchup 7 with all the default grass textures. please help. step-by-step. thanks in advance.
i wanna give my grasses 3d realistic look when i render it.

It's all about the textures. The default Sketchup grass is far from good enough. But even if you find a good large scale grass texture, then it's hard to make it look realistic, as grass isn't flat.

What I find works the best is add the grass in Photoshop afterwards. Get hold of lots of photos containins grass from various angles and cut and paste to make fit in your render.
