Vray Question

Vray Question

Postby arail1 » Sun May 03, 2009 5:00 pm

Struggling with V-Ray -

Can someone tell me why the pillows and sheet aren't smoothed in V-Ray. They are in SketchUp.
I didn't model them - I pulled all the beddding off 3D Warehouse.

TIA

Remove materials applied to group/components and instead apply it to the actual geometry.
There is more issues with materials applied to groups/components, so avoid that.

So in other words explode and regroup? Or explode and don't group? Sorry but I'm still a little in the dark.

No, just remove the material from the outside of the group/component. Apply material to faces instead.
