Camera options questions

Camera options questions

Postby Sebasvelpa » Sat Apr 28, 2012 4:48 am

Hello, I have a question about the camera settings. Why cut the final image objects at the bottom? The final image should be the same image of the scene. The scene is a two-point perspective.

Finally, why the displacement options do not work for the grass? I tested a new file and it works perfectly.

Thanks for the help. Any suggestion is welcome.

the thing is, that VRay for Sketchup does not support camera shifting.

what i do to come around this limitation:
- pick my view
- set Two Point Perspective view in SU's camera
- change the camera back to 3point Perspective (using the toolbar again)
- either pan manually upwards,
- or use a combination of panning and slight tilting of the view (so that the verticals are almost straight and the horizon is almost at the height i want it to be)

That is incorrect - there is a lens shift option in the camera settings. You have to do trial and error to get exactly the correct setting, but it's very possible.

However - vray camera does not support SU 2pt perspective or orthogonal views.
