Re: Speed Modelling #40 - Superhero/Villan WeaponsI beg forgiveness from the administration (Please do not disqualify me)
but I could not resist and made another model - gas gun from the movie "The Green Hornet" (full 30 minutes)
Re: Speed Modelling #40 - Superhero/Villan WeaponsThat is great!.
No worry about being disqualified at all, bring em on.
Re: Speed Modelling #40 - Superhero/Villan WeaponsDoctor Strange's Amulet of Agamotto - the eye shape isn't right but best I could do in about 25 minutes. Big thumbs up to that Joint Push Pull tool by the way.
PS. Blown away - and inspired- by some of those entries for 30 minutes (and under). Incredible. Please, register (free) to access all the attachments on the forums. Burt

Re: Speed Modelling #40 - Superhero/Villan Weapons"The (D/F)art Gun" from "Despicable Me"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZF2yPLkElfE I used almost all 30 minutes to finish. "Dr. Nefario: Here's the new weapon you ordered. [Shoots minion with the fart gun] Gru: No, no, no. I said DART gun. Dr. Nefario: Oh yes. Cause I was wondering... under what circumstances would we use this? Gru: Ok... " Please, register (free) to access all the attachments on the forums.

Re: Speed Modelling #40 - Superhero/Villan WeaponsACME, Wile. E. Coyote choice of weapon, never served him well..... ever!
Just the rocket was modeled for challenge, Coyote is an old model that I rigged to fit the challenge model. Tools used: artisan, follow and rotate, FFD. This is NOT a challenge entry as I would need to exclude the Coyote and it would make no sense as the rope is made to conform to his shape. Re: Speed Modelling #40 - Superhero/Villan Weaponsgoing to the finals of the competition. I decided to try on all 200% of my productivity
assault rifle "CLAW" (my design) worked all 30 minutes (no more) training has been a long, sketches, hand tamping in vector, did not think I could do at the right time ... BUT persistence and work - work wonders Last edited by cj_sniper on Sun May 29, 2011 2:25 pm, edited 1 time in total.
Re: Speed Modelling #40 - Superhero/Villan WeaponsWoah...!! Didn't think there would be this sort of response to this challenge..! But I'm happy to see the immense no. of entries on this one..! This bloke cj_sniper has singlehandedly provided more entries then the entire last competition entries..
So here's my entry for the competition. Repulsar Rays of Ironman (the ones embedded in his gloves) Please, register (free) to access all the attachments on the forums.
Re: Speed Modelling #40 - Superhero/Villan Weaponsmukul.ar - firstly like to thank you for such an effective theme contest
idea with the hand I also came, but it seemed to me that I did not cope with it. Your model is cool but if you remove a couple of bugs that will be generally BOMB!
Re: Speed Modelling #40 - Superhero/Villan WeaponsThanks for your input cj_sniper.. the profile of the hand I drew on a photograph... The part you mentioned to delete seems viable but the thumb position is IMO at the right place. Thanks anyways. And good work with your entries.. (You've posted 11 I believe?!)
