As the new SketchUcation Site has just been launched, this section will be updated frequently as we keep adding new features to the site!

Forums - the SketchUcation Community Forums (SCF) were founded in May 2007, after Google closed down the original SketchUp Forums. Since, SCF has become one of the most popular SketchUp related forum for all SketchUp users. SCF continues to be the best resource for SketchUp support and the vibrant community is the friendliest and most knowledgable around.

• For new members or new users of SketchUp, we recommend to start in the "Newbie Forum" where you can introduce yourself.

Shop  - our newest development is the SketchUcation Shop where top SketchUp Artists can sell and share models, textures, scrapbooks, tutorials and much more.

• We also have a "Components, Materials, Styles " subforum where members have shared their great content over the years. It's well worth browsing through to pick up some great freebies.

Premium membership - with our new site, we introduced "Premium membership" for our members. This comes with tons of "Premium only" free content and discounted shop items, a free "Private consultation room" to discuss, troubleshoot and learn from experienced SketchUp users.

Plugins - our Plugins Index is currently a sticky forum topic in our Plugins Forum. It has been our long term wish to create a more usable and sortable Plugin Repository which will allow members and visitors alike to browse the extremely rich collection of plugins developed by our author contributors or external parties from all over the World. Keep an eye on this secion as we might surprise you with a new Plugins Index any time.

Tutorials - with the new site up and running, we decided to collect the best and most complete tutorials in our new Resources / Tutorials section. With many experienced and generous SketchUp users on-board, this section is an ever growing place where you can find a lot of useful tips and tricks.

• There is still a "Tutorials " subforum we have where members also share some useful tips and tricks.

Note that with the acquision of SketchUp by Trimble, many of these below links may soon be deprecated and changed. We will strive to keep everything on this page updated as much as possible.

SketchUp Home - the starting page for "all SketchUp"

Download SketchUp - the officil download page for SketchUp - both Pro and Free versions. Note that there are some places all over the internet that provide download links too but always be careful where to download. Also, here you can always access the latest builds with the most up-to-date bug fixes and new features. This is another place where you can access all current, publicly and officially available versions (e.g. language variations) of SketchUp.

Older SketchUp (Pro) versions - if you are a Pro user, you can download older (and still supported) versions here.

Release notes - for all currently supported versions of SketchUp, LayOut and Style Builder.

SketchUp Help Center - general resources for all official, online help articles, links to the official SketchUp Help Forums (Google Groups) and others. The Help Articles were last released as downloadable PDF versions for SketchUp 7 and LayOut 2. Much of what's written there is still applicable to the current versions but you will need to make sure to compare to your current version's working.

SketchUp Sage site - a fine collection of helpful resources collected over the years of forum support by "SketchUp Sage" Catamountain. A side project of these resources is the "S'more stuff" site.

SketchUpdate - the official blog for SketchUp hosted on Blogspot. You can subscribe to their monthly newsletter (containing the excerpts of the most notable posts of the month) here.
